The commune of Yvrac is located 13 km to the north-east of Bordeaux. All the vineyards there produce wines in the Bordeaux, Bordeaux Supérieur or Premières Côtes de Bordeaux appellations.
Château Grand Jour was surrounded on three sides by the vines of Château Bouteilley; it was bought by Mr Jean Guillot in 1974.
It undergoes the same winemaking methods as Château Bouteilley (stainless steel vats).
Château Maillard is set 12 kilometres to the north-east of Bordeaux, in Yvrac. The vineyard is made up of clay-limestone soils.
It was purchased in 1988.
Mr JEAN GUILLOT administers the estate.
Vinification is carried out in a modern vat-house equipped with stainless steel vats ensuring permanent control over temperatures.
Château Peyrarey has been tenant-farmed by Jean Guillot since 1964.
It is set on remarkably well exposed clay-limestone soils and produces exclusively Bordeaux reds.
Château Cap de Fer is located on a superb clay-limestone plateau near the town of Saint Loubès.
It was purchased in 1995.
The vineyard of Château CAP DE FER enjoys excellent exposure to the sun with very few spring frosts and good ripening of the grapes.
