Types of soil :
Gravel soils and the typical Entre-Deux-Mers red clay and silt. Hillsides, mainly south-facing.
Vinification/maturing :
Maceration on the skins at 8°c for 10 days before fermentation.
Alcoholic fermentation at 18°c and maturing on the fine lees for 2 months.
Tasting notes :
1/ Appearance: a very pale colour with greenish tints.
2/ Bouquet: very aromatic and fruity (yellow fruit).
3/ Palate: dry and very fruity. Marked presence of the fruit aromas in the attack and a most elegant finish.
Serving suggestions :
All fish and seafood dishes.
Serving temperature : 8 to 10°c.
Ageing potential : 1 to 2 years.
