The Grand Moulin Estate is located 50 Kms north of Bordeaux in Saint Aubin de Blaye in the heart of the Côtes de Blaye wine region.
The entire estate is within the 1st Côtes de Blaye appelation wich stretches 35 Km along the right bank of the Gironde.
The vineyards extends over rocky hillsides wich allow for natural drainage as well as e reheating of the ground convenient in a good maturation of grappes.

Types of soil :
The whole of the property now consists of 30 HA. A few parcels of land offer a mix of sand and alluvium wich confer a freshness and aromatic flavour to the White Wines.
Vinification/maturing :
The White Sauvignon grape is exclusively grown on sand and mud based land wich provides a slaghtly cooler environment. It is this coolness wich is essential in producing the best results for this type of wine.

50% filmy maceration
50% direct pressing
Exuds an aroma characteristic of Sauvignon Wines, its citrus vapour (grapefruit, lemon) lasting sensation (gives the impression of biting into a grape seed), very long lingering taste, must be consumed within 2 years.

Aperitif, Fish, Seafood.
Serving temperature :8 - 10°C
Ageing potential :1 - 2 ans
