Vinification/maturing :
The harvest is totally de-stemmed. Fermentation and long maceration in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats. Pumped over daily. Malolactic fermentation after the wine is run off. Matured in stainless-steel vats for 18 months.
Tasting notes :
1/ Appearance: a dark red colour.
2/ Bouquet: a complex nose with notes of candied fruit and vanilla.
3/ Palate: rounded and supple in the mouth. Very well balanced with a long finish.
Serving suggestions :
Red and white meat - grilled or in a sauce. Poultry. Cheeses.
Serving temperature : 17°c.
Ageing potential : 10 to 15 years.
